Aloha!

In early March, we enjoyed a Hawaiian Cruise with my
Close to My Heart colleagues.  It's great to earn these vacations and I count myself
lucky to have such great, loyal customers, a fabulous team, and a
very helpful and supportive husband--- all of which are required
to earn these types of trips.

Anyway, we do a "Secret Sister" while we're on board.
Each day finding special surprises awaiting us.
Each day sneaking down to *my* secret sister's cabin
and leaving something on her door handle without getting caught.

At the end of the cruise we reveal whose name we had -
and thank the person who spoiled us all week.
It's great fun.

So on the first day of "secret sisters," my door was decorated
with this amazing banner.  She used the CTMH Pemberley papers and My Creations Mini-Banner.  Loved it.  Made it so much more fun to come "home" every night.  The cool thing about this banner are the shapes of the pennants----- AND that these shapes are found on the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.

I was thinking this would be a fun idea for a kids room or dorm, right?  Or your front door saying "Welcome" or "Happy 4th" or "USA"..... How would YOU use it?

*LOVE* this special.....

Just the excuse I need to fill my cabinets with more stamps.
How 'bout you?

Pro-tip:  Be sure you have enough MyAcrylix Organizers to hold all of your favorite Close to My Heart stamps!

June Scrapbook Workshop

June's Scrapbook Workshop will be using the CTMH "Footloose" papers.
This is one of the two layouts we're making.
I had such fun creating the embellishments -- how did we EVER live without "Liquid Glass"?  LOL  I really like the new CTMH Wooden Badge Buttons.  They take stamped images and sponged ink very well.

If you'd like to learn how to make these embellishments *AND* have a relaxing, enjoyable night, click on this button:

This little mini-album was inspired by something one of my team swappers had created (sorry, I don't remember who it was!) You start with a "Colonial White Die-Cut Card".... yes, that's right, a card. Score the panels, fold accordian style, decorate the panels with LUCY papers from Close to My Heart, and the LUCY RUB-ON's. We did this project at my Team Meeting last month and had a lot of fun! Like the finished product?
