Love for Santa...

My Daughter has been hyping the Santa-thing
with the twins (who are almost 3) for quite a while now...

They were UBER-excited about sitting on his lap
as you can tell from these pictures taken in line
(in the 40-degree LV weather -- brrrr!)

All they could talk about was seeing Santa....
Sitting on his lap.....And THEN we stepped inside of "Santa's House"
(a DARLING replica of Norman Rockwell's Christmas)...

Catie immediately had a death grip around my neck.
Then Addie heard her sisters screams of terror and she got worried.
Dreams of the twins actually SITTING on Santa's lap
quickly faded. And alas, mommy and Grandma
were forced into sitting by Santa,
while hanging onto a twin so they couldn't escape.
(Zoom in on Catie's face --- absolute TERROR!)

So, guess we're 3 for 3.... tears and trauma with Santa.
Will next year be different?
(we wonder)

Afterwards we went shopping and then to lunch.
All in all, not a bad day!

Clever Christmas Decoration (chuckle)

The owner of the home removed the above decoration after just 2 days.
Evidently throngs of people were racing up the yard to "save" the dude...
even a 55-year-old woman (hey! no senior jokes here!) who "nearly
killed herself setting the 35-pound ladder upright." Boy was
she mad when she got to the top of the ladder only to find it was a fake!

LOL..... some people just don't have a sense of humor!
(And others DO.... like the homeowner!!!)

Thanks, Diane, for sharing this!

Christmas Creations - Inspiration

I was going through some files and ran across this picture...
One of my fellow consultants shared her creations
using the new "Jingle" papers
from Close to My Heart (and available on my website).
It's absolutely darling.... wish I could remember who the artist was (sorry!)
but thanks for sharing! I think I need to go stamp now.....

Sometimes I amaze myself!

Needed a fun birthday card - limited time to create.
So I picked out one of my favorite paper kits, "Bella" along with the coordinating MyStickease, and grabbed my copy of "Wishes Card Confidence" (I love this book!) Inspired by "Folded Focus" on page 56, created this card in a matter of minutes!!
I hope my friend liked the card.......

Albuquerque Fun

We had a terrific time in Albuquerque at the Fall Fiesta Stamp Show-- even though the business part wasn't so good (where were all the shoppers???)

We enjoyed time with local CTMH downline and with our fellow vendors who have become good friends (almost like family!)

Being that the show began on Halloween, we dressed up in costume. Take a look:

Marty and I (aka: Dog the Bounty Hunter and wife, Beth)
with team member, Debra Almanza, who also worked the booth with us.

And some of our fellow-vendor-friends:

Nami and Gary of "Denami Designs"

Melissa, and her dad, of "Pugnacious"

This was a "suit-case" show for us so we set-up without gridwalls and gondola's. It still looked nice - don't you think?
