I'm excited about the fun, new products in the SPRING/SUMMER 2012 Idea Book!
This card is one of the new paper products along with the printed papers, "Florentine."
The cards are "Colonial White Die-Cut Cards" and come with envelopes to
fit this fun 3-1/2" x 8" cards! I just LOVE the die-cut flap of this card (on the right).

To create this card, I used the new stamp set, A1119, A Garden.
I love this sweet and simple line designs of this set which also includes the sentiments "Sending Warm Wishes," "Thank You!" and "Hello". The images (except Hello) were random stamped using a Cocoa Ink Pad and "Hello" was stamped with the Brown Bag Ink Pad.

The soft, watercolor look was added using a Blender Pen and 3 Ink Pads: Creme Brulee, Garden Green, and Twilight. Do you like soft watercolors like me? I was inspired by a wallpaper design I'd seen on an HGTV show. Not all of the images are watercolored (just like the wallpaper).

One last note: check out the die-cut flap and the cute button addition..... it's one of the new "Durable Studs"! They are peel-and-stick metal studs in 2 sizes and 2 finishes. Choose from the Round collection or the Square. I used the square pewter stud on this card.

By the way, this is one of the cards we're making at my card classes this month.
Hope you'll join me on Feb. 14 or Feb. 23!
